Stuart Jackson is a house name. The author of this one is actually Michael Avallone.
If there is one thing you can count on in Men’s Adventure fiction is that all that crazy shit on the cover is in the book.
Bucher, nick named The Butcher, was the meanest enforcer in the Mafia. Then one day he got sick of it and wanted out. Sick of the killing? Absolutely not. Sick of the money, the power, the women? Look, we didn’t think it through ok, he was just sick of it, don’t ask so many questions!
Hearing the news of his quitting the mob, the secret government agency, White Hat recruits him to be one of their agents. He’s in but there is one rule…he doesn’t follow the rules.
His assignment this time is to protect up and coming spiritual leader Father Pequet while he is in the hospital for heart tests. Bucher frowns upon this assignment as he sees Pequet as a cult leader but he does the job anyway. He hilariously gets into a car wreck on purpose near the hospital so he will be taken there as a patient. Remember he’s a secret agent, no one can know he’s there in an official capacity. How come? I told you not to ask questions!
In the hospital we meet a cool black doctor and a bunch of big tittied sexy nurses. Bucher negs the black-haired doll with Cleopatra bangs at first. She is of course bummed because he’s the best-looking man she’s ever seen. Luckily, he throws in one compliment and that’s enough for her to risk her high paying career to sneak back into his room for some late night softcore. And why yes, he does have a giant penis and can go multiple rounds back-to-back.
A huge chunk of the beginning is him hanging out in his room, pretending to be hurt, banging a nurse, and mentally trying to figure out how to get up to the floor housing Father Pequet. When he does get a chance, he arrives just in time to see a terrorist guy throw a cheap bomb into the Fez Hat wearing guards at Pequet’s door. Those guys all blow up, but Bucher jumps out of his hiding place to give the running terrorist a solid punch which knocks him out. Bucher can’t hang around to answer questions though, so he sneaks back into his room.
Something fishy is going on with this so called, spiritual leader. Bucher doesn’t trust those Arab looking guards and why is Father Pequest trying to get it on with the sexy nurses? How big is Father Pequet’s dick? What does all this have to do with Hoodoo?
All of these questions answered and more in the exciting series entry, The Hoodoo Horror!
If you’re a fan of explosions, there are five in this I believe. At one point I was like, seriously? ANOTHER bomb?? They couldn’t come up with anything else?
If you like sexy nurse fantasies, cartoonish mafia assassins, big dicks, big titties, James Bond type-spy weapons, and actions first… maybe questions later, this book is for you. It does drag a little in the beginning with the hospital. Just like a real hospital visit I was ready to get out of that room. Also, massively disappointed with the hack-ass way they threw in Hoodoo at the end. It’s laughably vague on even what Hoodoo is and how it was going to be used. When I saw the title, I figured this was going to be a Men’s Adventure action crossover with some spooky Voodoo magic horror. Twas not. Gotta say though I love my Men’s Adventure hokey and non-military and this was up there. I bet there are some real gems in the series, and I will be making sure to pick up some more.
